How is the lifelong learning programme at Masaryk University developed and evaluated?

Do you want to know how our lifelong learning programmes are developed and evaluated? We would be happy to give you an overview.

The creation of the lifelong learning programme

Every new lifelong learning programme at Masaryk University goes through a rigorous approval process. This process varies according to the type and scope of the programme. In general:

  • The idea for a new programme usually originates in individual faculties or directly at the university level.
  • The approval of a programme takes place in several phases, which include comments from programme guarantors, academic senates, scientific board and other bodies.
  • The length and complexity of the approval process depends on the scope and nature of the programme.

Evaluation of lifelong learning programmes

We regularly evaluate the quality of our programmes. The aim of the evaluation is to determine whether the programmes meet their objectives and whether they deliver the expected benefits to participants.

  • Annual evaluation: each programme undergoes an annual evaluation to assess its results and plans for the future.
  • Five-year evaluation: Comprehensive evaluation takes place every five years. It includes an analysis of all relevant data and participants' views.

Microcredentials

Do you want to increase your knowledge in a specific area? Our microcredentials allow you to do so. A microcredential is evidence of completion of a short training module that provides you with new skills and knowledge.
