On 1 March 2024, an internal call for projects to support innovation in teaching key subjects at Masaryk University will be announced. Within the framework of the call, it is possible to submit a project proposal to innovate teaching in the areas of simulation, project-based or research-oriented teaching.

Eligible applicants and researchers are guarantors of the study programmes in which the innovation will be applied. The programme guarantor may also entrust another MU academic staff member with the responsibility for the research. Successful proposals will be implemented between 1 July 2024 and 30 June 2025.

The aim of the call for projects is to support innovative methods and forms of teaching in Bachelor's, Continuing Master's and Master's degree programmes at Masaryk University that will lead to the introduction or development of interactivity in teaching and/or create space for the introduction of distance elements in teaching. Projects that will lead to the introduction or development of simulation, project-based and research-oriented learning may be supported, provided that the project clearly shows the sustainability or long-term nature of the supported activities. The support is not intended for the introduction of new subjects, but for the development or introduction of innovative methods and forms of teaching in existing subjects of study programmes.
